Building a Fairer and More Stable Community: Capacity-Building Initiatives for Local Leaders

In pursuit of a more just and stable community, “Mercy Without Limits,” in partnership with the “Environment and Peace” team, organized two initiatives over four days in Afrin and Jindires, targeting local community leaders.
In Afrin, the training included intensive workshops on transitional justice, covering its definition, importance, mechanisms, and the role of civil society in supporting it. The goal was to empower leaders to promote peace and community stability.
In Jindires, the sessions focused on mediation and arbitration, encompassing their principles, negotiation techniques, and trust-building, along with practical examples. The objective was to equip leaders with skills for peacefully resolving conflicts.
